The Exterior of our houses are neglected. We don't often think about cleaning the roof, siding garage doors, brick or even flat surfaces like driveways or patios. That neglect is turning into damage that is sometimes unseen until its too late.

Frequently asked questions
How often should I actually have my house washed?
For most homes, a professional cleaning every 2-3 a year. However, your environment might demand a different schedule. You should consider washing more frequently (every 1-2 years) if:
- Your home is surrounded by heavy tree cover (hello, pollen and sap).
- You live in a high-humidity area where mold and mildew thrive.
- You’ve recently had major landscaping or construction nearby that kicked up a lot of red clay or dust.
Can’t I just use a high-pressure wand on my siding?
Technically, you could, but you probably shouldn't. Using high pressure on vinyl, wood, or stucco can lead to "etching" (permanent scars on your siding), water being forced behind the panels (leading to mold inside your walls), or even shattered window seals.
We recommend—and use—a Soft Wash method. This uses specialized cleaning solutions to kill organic growth at the root, followed by a low-pressure rinse that’s no stronger than a garden hose.
What is the "Soft Wash" method, and why is it better?
Think of it like washing your hair vs. scrubbing a concrete floor. Soft Washing involves:
- Application: Applying a biodegradable cleaning solution that breaks down algae, lichen, and "gloeocapsa magma" (those pesky black streaks).
- Dwell Time: Letting the solution do the heavy lifting.
- Low-Pressure Rinse: Gently washing everything away. It’s safer for your home’s exterior and keeps it cleaner for longer because it actually kills the spores instead of just "giving them a haircut."
